I-131 question

My wife is filing form I-131 for Advanced Parole along with her I-485. She is currently on a k-1 visa. Just wondering about the part where it says "Date of intended departure". Do I need to put this? I'm not even sure if she will be traveling over there. I'm just getting the Advanced parole in case. Also they ask for a letter as to what circumstances. I don't really know of any circumstances other than that she has family there that she would like to be able to visit, especially in case of an emergency. Is that acceptable?

hi... in my case i just put no exact date... and on the letter just state there what u had just said on your post. i did the same thing in my AP for emergency purpose only..

I agree with the other posts. However, my wife did put potential dates of travel eg New Year for the purpose of visiting family. She is not bound to those dates. She's received AP and there is no mention of specific travel dates or plans just the validity of one year and indication that it's valid for multiple trips.
