My fiancee passed her interview (pink slip) on the 25th of September but still hasn't received her visa as of Oct 8th.

I called the embassy and said that the case is still with the CO.

It's not under admin review but why is it taking this long?

Anyone here have the same experience?

Please hang in there. Sometimes it just takes more time. With all the floods and such I am not supprized its taking more time.

i had the same experience also....they will always say that the case was still with the CO and mine was even UNDER REVIEW..in my case they told me to wait for 6 WEEKS...i was so stressed and was crying everyday then because i already had my ticket (advice:dnt buy ticket until you havent receive your visa yet) ... but my passport with visa arrived in 6 WORKING DAYS.. your fiance will receive a text from air21 telling when it will be expected to deliever.. just be patient.. all is worth waiting for :)

How do you know it was approved?

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Unfortunately we booked her flight already(lesson learned). It's been 9 working days for us so hopefully it will come soon.

Once a pink is issued....is there an option to just pick up the VISA the next day or so? and not get it delivered by AIR21?

May 23, 2009 - Signed up for E-mail updates on USCIS.gov website.

Aug 27, 2009 - Touched 1

Aug 27, 2009 - NOA-2 E-mail Received!

Sept 8, 2009 - NVC Received File - Was stuck in AP for 28 Days!

Oct 6, 2009 - NVC sent file to Manila - Thank GOD

Oct 9, 2009 - File in System at US. Embassy In Manila

Oct 15, 2009 - Information packet received by Beneficiary from Manila

Oct 14, 2009 - Advanced Medical Exam Passed
