Hello guys! I just want to share my happiness with you my VJ family. My fiance called NVC yesterday and the representative said that our papers was sent to the embassy on Oct 01...Whew! After 34 days FINALLY!!... To those who are in AP still..don't give up, just keep on praying to our almighty God. Pls continue praying for us for the interview.Thank you so much. God Bless us all! CIAO!

April 4, 2009: K1 petition sent to VSC

April 7, 2009: Received by USCIS(VSC)

April 11, 2009: NOA1 hard copy received by my fiance through mail

August 24, 2009: Touched and it says that Petition for Alien Fiancee was approved dated August 23, 2009

August 25, 2009: Touched again

August 28, 2009: Received by NVC

August 29, 2009: NOA2 hardcopy received by my fiance through mail

September 1, 2009: Fiance called at NVC (Under Additional Processing)

October 01, 2009: NVC left(Praise the Lord!!)

October 15, 2009: Interview...VISA APPROVED!!!

October 21, 2009: Received text from Air21 that my Visa will be delivered soon

October 22, 2009: VISA RECEIVED!!!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

yup today and everyday... hopefully my congressman is calling soon too!... I contacted them last week after I was treated rather rudely by one of the operators at the NVC... PI$$d me off so taking it to the next and only level available....

But thank you very much for your prayers... and I hope your interview goes smoothly... if you dont mind, Im kinda interested in how long the wait time is for an interview date .... thanks!

As what i know...once the embassy received the case and already in their system, you can start calling the embassy and set your interview date. There is no need to wait for the packet because you can download it in their site(the DS156, DS156k and DS157) then pay the visa fee($131) at BDO. Goodluck to you guys. Just be patient and keep on praying. God Bless us all!! If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me. :)

Thank you!! I have a question...is it okay if i would not include my fiance's BC since i have his passport(copy) as one of my proof of relationship? i really researched on this and i think it's okay but i am still confuse...

It's best to have copies of every single thing sent to the USCIS originally in case they lose your paperwork like they did ours. I would also schedule the interview a couple of weeks after the call. When we schedule ours for 1 week later, she was not even in the system when she arrived for her interview and was turned away.

Wonderful news!!

Give them 10 days to get your application in the system in Manila and call them to set up an interview.

Make sure they Email the interview notice to both your email address and your SO's email address.

Print it and Use that email to get your medical done!!!

Allow 2 weeks between your medical and your interview.

Its all over fast now!!
