Administrative Processing

Is "Administrative Processing" done BEFORE or AFTER the interview in Moscow? The only thing I found was this:

An applicant's interview can be scheduled and an invitation packet can be mailed only upon completion of the administrative processing, which the Embassy is required to perform on visa cases. The procedure is obligatory and cannot be waived. It will probably take a few weeks for this to happen.

HOWEVER, I DID NOT FIND THIS ON THE Embassy website. I only found it on HERE, VJ forums.

Does anyone know for sure??

I can confirm that we are currently in Administrative processing after the inter view. The interview was on the 21st and we are still waiting for them to finish.

The Embassy does it's own AP, background checks etc. And there may be some AP after the interview; this may be further investigation triggered by the interview information or something the specific consulate does on their own.

If you have nothing to worry about, then I wouldn't worry about that.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

We weren't missing any, but they just asked for more of the same. We are currently awaiting them to finish reviewing them and then making a decision one way or another. Stressful and aggravating, but not the end of the world.
