hello guys, i am k1 visa applicant with a k2 derivative. we have our medical last sept. 22-25 together with my daughter, my medical is doing ok but the medical of my daughter is not. her chest x-ray shows a small scar. st. lukes advice me to bring back my duaghter on november 25th. i will be having my interview this 6 of october 2009. st. lukes did not re sched my interview. My question is shall i bring my daughter still during the interview? shall i still submit her documents together with my docments? do i still pay her visa application fee? please give me an advice.

I had similar problems with my sons medical (awaiting further documentation from his doc at the hospital) I didn't take my son to the interview with me, i took all his documentation that was needed along with mine and submitted it as required, we were accepted (pending medical pass) i payed BOTH visa fees. Then when all the info was through from the docs i sent it all down to Knightsbridge (i'm guessing you're in the UK?) The doc there then automatically sends all the medical info over to the embassy, our visa's arrived several days later.

I'd go to your interview as prepared as possible, and take it from there.

Good luck

Selina.

Would you not mind if you could give me a detail what you do before the interview even your son is lacking in medical results. me and fiance are planning to bring my daughter along with me when i come to the us. hopefully if there is nothing wrong with the x-ray of my daughter on november 25, shall i still go back for an interview for my daughter only? please give the details of what happened to yours,,,, i find a light in you. please i need your advice.. thanks allot.

Which country are you attending your interview in? Being from the UK i wasn't required to take my son for the interview so had no need to schedule one for him alone! At the Embassy no information regarding the medical was shared the staff there go by the medical examiners results (pass/fail).

The only documentation regarding my son for the interview was his passport/birth certificate/fathers consent and passport photos! (i'd have to refer to the document list to see if there was anything else..lol)

OK :) I can only speak from my experience at the Embassy here in the UK. If you're daughter is required to attend the interview with you i would take her along with any documentation and take it from there. At the end of the day it will be up to the Embassy staff as to the next step!

go prepared and be ready for any outcome. If you can reschedule the hospital appointment making it sooner it will help with the processing of your visa, i'm guessing they won't issue one without the other so i wouldn't worry about having yours with one date and your daughters with another.

Thats what i would do, the Embassy staff will hopefully process everything for you and pass you pending your daughters medical results:D

Good luck, keep me posted as to how things go!
