There is in the sense of the descendants of slavery - but probably more accurately African-American culture. There is also the commonality of all blacks in this country, who have been subjected to racial prejudice which are permeated for centuries and created certain cultural traits, just as there is a Jewish culture or Irish culture.

It's just not possible to define a single white culture, because there is none. A country the size of the US is made of multiple cultures and sub-cultures. This diversity is actually why so many people don't get the US. Most other countries I have been to that are smaller in population, do have a dominant homogeneous culture. Therefore, people mistakenly assume the US is like that too. This is why when someone abroad says they had a bad experience with an American tourist, I usually ask if they know where this person was from; as it makes a world of difference.

I agree. For example, one of the local churches sponsors an annual Greek Festival. There are Irish Parades, etc.

White culture in the US is Eurocentric and Puritanical. White Anglo-Saxon Protestants. That is the history, and that is the culture. The rest of the American cultures are just variations on a theme. Sooner, or later, all Americans, no matter where they came from, fit the mold after a generation or two. The great melting pot.

European culture is different than saying 'white culture'. We talk about Asian culture, that's regional...not derived by skin color.
