Is there any requirement to make it look like the original..as far as graphics / format / structure...or does it just need to be the verbiage (words) ?

No. My wife does translations for Ukrainian and Russian and has developed her own format for translations. She uses some standard symbols to show "seals" and such. There is also no need for a word for word translation (if such a thing is even possible) You translate the meaning of the document using English words and grammer. I suppose if three translators did three documents you would get three results BUT they would all be an accurate translation of what the document says. Ukrainian divorce certificates say, directly translated, "the marriage is cancelled" I think she says "terminated" as the word "cancelled" would not normally be used to describe a divorce in English.

For the stamps and such, she uses a circle and inside that circle she writes the type of stamp "seal of the village soviet, (name of city)" etc. I doubt even that is required

Anyway, the eact words are not as important as the exact purpose and meaning. As long as you do not trry to pass off a high scholl diploma as a divorce certificate, you are OK :lol:
