I'm sorry, but in your attempt to make a long story short, you've succeeded in making it incomprehensible, as well.

Who is the beneficiary, and who is the petitioner? When was the fiancee visa filed? What the heck is "coa"? What is this "ny office" he called, and what have they got to do with a fiancee visa?

I get the impression you're talking about a US citizen (your fiance) getting a fiance visa to the UK. Is this correct? If so, this is the wrong forum to ask for advice. This forum deals with family immigration to the US.

Please explain everything clearly.

Please just give us the long version. Those of us here old to to help do not understand text-latin. I have been to the UK, that language you speak there is closer to English than text latin. Lay it on us.

This must be a new aberration of the Queen's English or an intentional embarrassment thereof. This is not a cell phone hunney. If you want adult answers please address your situation accordingly, the better for this forum in trying to help you.

In any situation, happy birthday and sorry for your miscarriage.

God executes his wisdom in mysterious ways for the betterment of all. Its all about faith.

Your USA fiancee needs to work and to start his new job, it is very unlikely that anything can be accomplished by him being there in person, emotional support notwithstanding.

When dealing with any government agency, expect delays and incompetence. It seems that you are approved and your visa will be issued in due course.

Stress is part of the game when going through the visa process, anyone who has been through this process can testify to the headaches involved.

Keep strong and take care of yourself. You say that your visa has been approved, so its only a matter of time and waiting. Tough and painful waiting, however all this heartache will be forgotten when you fly across the pond and become reunited with your fiancee and start your new life.

Good luck always,

NM

This is why there needs to be an international ban on text messages. The future generations have no chance of ever being able to communicate with the written language. I can only imagine the future of literature.

You did OK for two sentences, missing a few articles, punctuation marks, etc., but in general no worse than an immigrant with a couple months experience with the English language and enough for me to know you are asking about UK law regarding fiancee visas. This site is dedicated to US family based visas, but there may be someone here with experience in the British system AND able to read your...whatever that is you type. Are you Cockney by chance?

Ok, as I suspected - fiance visa to the UK.

You didn't post in the wrong area. You posted on the wrong site. This site is for people who are dealing with family immigration to the United States. There aren't many people here who know anything about family immigration to the UK.

Good luck!

I agree....i dont think England has fiance visa's they just do the spouse ones....and i agree, that WAS hard to comprehend! The British can type and spell and make proper sentences, but maybe this lady was in-experienced in the message board etiquette on how to get a word across...we ARE so used to text-talk we seem to think its ok everywhere huh! Oh well, hope she finds her answer somewhere!! Poor thing!

Hey, I slammed you AND helped. I guess I get two points. Besides, pointng out that unintelligible text-speak is not a good way to communicat in the real world is doing you a favor. Someone needs to tell you to get your head out of your...text...and into the real world when speaking to real people. This is the first post you wrote I can make sense of.

Nobody wanted to put you down or make you upset. We were trying to advise you on some things that are considered good manners (and common sense) when posting on internet forums. A few sentences of "SMS speak" on your telephone screen is easy enough to understand. An entire paragraph full of text like this is extremely difficult to read and understand, especially when your sentences are abbreviated as well. I read through your initial post three times - slowly - and I still couldn't understand what your situation was. I sincerely wanted to try to help you, but I was frustrated because I couldn't understand you.

Just so you don't run into similar problems in the future, here's a short list of some things that are considered good manners on an internet forum.

  • Don't use "text messaging" abbreviations. (You already know this now). Besides being difficult to read, it gives the reader the impression that you are either very young, or not very intelligent.
  • Use proper punctuation and capitalization. Again, it just makes it easier on the reader. unlessyouthingthatsomethinglikethisiseasiertoread
  • DON'T USE ALL CAPS. It's considered to be the equivalent of "yelling" at the reader.
  • If you have a tendency to misspell a lot of words, then use a spell checker. Many web browsers (Firefox, for example) have one built-in.
  • Bear in mind that readers can't see your face when they read what you've written. If you write something that might be misinterpreted as being offensive then use an emoticon to make your intentions clear. Ok, godammit? :P
