I think I lost mine, I was gonna make a copy and fax it to my employer but it seems it's disappeared into the thin air. I have no idea where I put it . It's not where I left it.. I'm so frustrated. Can I get a new one? If not, can I still work after my card is expired? Thanks guys.

Make infopass and go to your local office and explain to them the situation and probably will stamp your passport for 1 year, and that valid for work and travelling.

Good luck.

You need that crazy extension letter to stay legal, was so crazy with the I-751, submit it exactly 90 days and have to wait even over 15 months before that ten year card comes in. Hopefully you won't have to make a long trip for an infopass when that one year extension expires, but you have to do it.

So easy to misplace important documents, have to tell my wife, daughter, and dog to be quiet, not only immigration, but medical records, receipts, tax information, bills, flex plan data, insurance papers, etc., etc., etc. Perhaps you put it in the wrong folder, when is the last time you saw it? With a copy machine, fax, and three scanners, tend to leave stuff in their when interrupted. Take a couple of hours to look for it, hopefully it wasn't toss in the trash. When that stuff came in, copied and scanned it instantly, and put the original in my fire proof safe in the very thick immigration file under papers from the USCIS.

Never was easy to make an infopass appointment, plus a 430 mile round trip for us, if I recall, the best time to do it was at 3:00AM in the morning and hopefully someone canceled an appointment.
