Hi,

My wife, an LPR and soon to be USC, did an I-130 for her daughter over 21 and unmarried. The USCIS approved it and we got a case # for the NVC in August 2009.

I've read through all of the great guides that are pinned and I think I understand everything.

I just want to confirm that from the time the case # gets assigned to the time the NVC sends the DS-3032 would be the long wait right? Does all of that paperwork come before or after the wait time?

Thanks!

What I meant to ask was, at what stage of the NVC process:...

...does the the wait time come for an unmarried daughter over 21 (F2B)?

Is it now after receiving the case # and before getting the DS-3032?

Or will we go through all of the paperwork and fees and then hav the wait for the visa number?

Thanks,

Mugs

I thought that the 'wait time for a visa number' started when the petition was filed, and ended when the petition was approved. Since you've got an approval, I suggest to kick the NVC processing INTO play by submitting a DS-3032.

Since you have a GUZ case number NOW, I also suggest you opt in for NVC electronic processing. If you don't know how to do that, let me know, I'll post some links...
