Fastening check to I-751 packet?

I don't remember how I fastened my check for the fees to my I-485 packet that was made up with the ACCO fasteners. My I-751 is also bound with the ACCO fasteners at the top. I seem to recollect having the check inside a plastic sandwich baggie but not sure or how i would've fastened that either. I did fasten two sandwich baggies to the back cover with staples that include 2 passport style pictures and pictures of evidence of ongoing relationship.

I have all documents and form fastened with the ACCO deal. I put a paperclip on the check "attaching" it to the I-751 form. Hope this helps.

I think as long as the check is not stapled or glued (and could damage the check) you will be ok.

04/2011 - Oath Ceremony/American Citizen

I stuck my cheque right on top of the entire thing, even on top my cover letter and held it in place with the big bulldog clip (acco fastner). I agree .. don't punch it or staple it.

Aug ?? - mailed I-130 packages for both mother and father
Sept 10 - NOA1 date
Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png
