I need some help, I (the petitioner) am moving this week and I wanted to update my address. I was filling out form AR-11 and realized that this was for an "Alien Change of Address". Do I use the same form? Do I just change my address over the phone? I am confused now...

I apologize if this has been asked and answered!

Thanks for your help!

Use the online change of address - follow up a couple of week later with a telephone call to ensure it was successful (even though you'll probably already know by then because you'll receive a letter confirming the change at your new address).

TIP:

Whether moving recently or not, it is a good idea to list your names (petitioner and foreign fiancé/spouse) on the inside of the mail box - on the inside of the lid or wherever the carrier will see the names) - this should insure you get the appropriate mail.

When it asks the question "Status in the US" what do I select? I am a citizen and that is not an option. Do I select other or Permanent Resident?

Thanks!

When you're at the change of address page - one of the options/steps is:

Is this change of address for a U.S. Citizen?

•Yes, this change of address is for a US Citizen <--select this one

•No, this change of address is not for a US Citizen

THEN

Do you have any Applications or Petitions Pending with USCIS?

Yes, I have one or more Pending Applications or Petitions<--select this one

•No, I do not have any Pending Applications or Petitions

The rest should be pretty obvious...

If you've already gotten NOA2 for your I-129F, you no longer have a petition pending with USCIS. The online system will not accept change of address info for a US citizen unless you have a pending petition.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
