Ok, I have sent in the I-130 and it was approved. Then I sent in the I-864 and DS230...still waiting to here if they are approved by the NVC. Now what? I know that we will have to have two interview in El Salvador and I have heard this is after they approve the DS230 but I also know that my husband is going to need the I-601 and I-212 and I don't know if they will aprove the DS230 without these two forms.....what is the order of things to be done? Will they schedule an interview at the US embassy in El Salvador and then tell us at the interview that we need these two forms completed or will the NVC say they need the forms up in New Hampshire first? Please help!!

After NVC your case will be sent to the embassy (The DS230 is not approved, it is simply submitted). The embassy will set up an interview. At the interview (if necessay) they will deny you. Some embassies allow you to submit the I-601 and I-212 at this point. Some don't. But have them both ready just in case. You will eventually submit them at the embassy

Good luck.
