I received the NOA for EAD July 15, 2009. I have not heard from USCIS regarding biometrics appointment. The NOA says they will schedule a date and notify us. Is this within processing times? I noticed almost everyone on this site has already been approved for EAD let alone not received bio appointment.

Does seem 'confusing' as to why you haven't heard anything regarding your Biometrics and you've already gotten a notice that your AOS was transferred to CSC. Would be worth a call to the customer non-service line to see if you can find out what's up.
