Please someone advise me on what to do.

I applied for 129F – April7

NOA1—April 11

NOA2 - April 20

Was received by US Embassy in Moscow – May 2

I called the US embassy in Moscow and I was told that my petition was returned back to the US. I called Vermont a few times. I cannot really get anything out of them All they say that my application is sitting with all the others and whenever they get to it they will send me RFE. But they cannot even tell me for sure if my application is there or not. They just told me to wait.

The last time my application was touched on 05/01/06. No updates since then. Please advice. Maybe I should email to USCIS or what to do. Maybe I should reapply. I am going completely crazy. Please advice. Thanks

You are one of many who had their petitions returned under the IMBRA law.

YOu need to fill in timeline to make things easier for us to help

Also did they tell you what date your package was received back at Vermont?

There are still people waiting on their IMBRA RFE. You should be getting one in a few days. Once that is returned and everything is okay, you should get your petition forwarded back to Moscow.

This is a real mess and alot of people have been caught up in it.

Remember when you call the standard number that is given for customer service you are not talking to someone actually at the service center.

Call them back and keep at them to give you more information.

If they keep giving you the run around, contact your congressman and have him look into it for you. Many in the same situation have had good luck with that tactic.

It seems like a lot of people already got and even returned their RFEs. Is anyone else in this situation? Please let me know if you have not been touched and have not gotten your RFE yet. Thanks

What? D'oh. Wrong like up there, but not to worry. The threads links are correct. I'm sorry about the confusion.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.
