Hi Everyone,

I was about to send my N-400 application but im kind of hesitant because of my previous case with immigration...

here's my story...

Married someone to come to the United States, Divorced then overstayed for 4 months after divorced was granted, then i was arrested and detained overnight, judge grant me voluntary departure but married the love of my life before i left the US...present husband petition me waited for 3 yrs because of the previous immigration issues but granted visa and just had my GC and now im wondering if i need a lawyer or should i just provide all the court paper and just be honest filling up the application...please help...TIA

Seems like with the N-400, USCIS completely forgets that you already went through the AOS and I-751 to get that far. I don't believe anyone here can give a correct answer without reviewing all of your court records and previous history that may take a good immigration attorney even a couple of days to do. You imply fraud in coming over here, but somehow that was resolved. Get ready to go through that again.
