hey guys i just had a question about my husband loosing his job.

well our interview is coming up in a month and well he lost his job july 2009 and we decided to carry on with our AOS application. we have a joint sponsor who makes well above the poverty line.

my husband has been looking for a job ever since and right now hes had no offers, do you think that this will affect the decision of the interviewer, will they ask questions about that? he is on employment checks but its not a lot. i'm still waiting on my EAD because i also wanted to get a full time job, but i havent recieved anything yet.

has anyone had any experience with this situation? thanks in advance for the replies!

you'll be OK with the joint sponsor and your husband's work history. don't bring the issue up in the interview, but if it comes up, treat it as temporary and have several year's W2 forms as proof of earning history.
