I-94 - What do I do without it?

Hello Everyone,

Well it's crunch time now with trying to get my paperwork sent off for AOS for my wife. I'm hung up on the I-130 form where it asks for the I-94 record number. She turned that in at the airport. And yes, we checked, it's not stapled in her passport anywhere. Now what do I put on the form? The stamp in her passport does specify the date she has to leave, is it enough to copy this page (and the front page of course) and attach it to the form with a note or is there another solution?

Thanks in advance.

Robert

They don't say anything in the instructions about it? Sorry, I don't really remember since I applied 2 years ago for that.

But what you can do is in addition to the copy of the passport that states the date she has to leave, you can include a note/appendix/cover letter stating you don't have the I-94 card but give specifics about when she arrived: date, city, airport, flight number (if you have/remember); and also include the date that says she has to leave.

When you started the filing process for your wife, was she in the US? if you filed after she departed then put N/A
