Hi Everyone,

Just to let you all know that I checked on the N-400 check/cheque online today (9/18/09) and....

They cashed it in!!! (on 9/15/09, JP Morgan Chase, in Lewisville Texas, from what I could read from the images on the check/cheque)...

Lol..guess my bank was a bit slow regarding the updates...oh well..

Sigh..there goes our money to the USCIS..I feel depressed....

Now I wait for the NOA..and get some much needed exercise (as our new mailbox is a mile away, literally)...what a long walk to check the mail....

Maybe that walk will cheer me up (or at least help me lose the baby weight..lol..)..

Check...I've checked on the check/cheque......I'm all "checked out" and broke....

Will keep you all updated on VJ as to what happens next...

P.S. Is there some sort of EAC reciept tracking number that I can check my N-400 application with that is on the check/cheque? Or would I have to wait for my NOA and/or biometrics letter to track such?

I could not see mine either like on the previous times. But i received my NOA a couple days later. :thumbs::thumbs: So cross fingers for today. I am still waitning for my biometrics they sent on the 10th.

06/07/11 NVC received case.

06/08/11 Called to give emails and got IIN.

06/10/11 Sent DS3032 email and paid AOS fee. Received auto response 15 seconds later.

06/14/11 AOS Showed Paid. Sent AOS Package.

06/16/11 NVC Received and accepted DS3032. AOS Package was delivered to NVC.

06/17/11 Paid IV fee.

06/22/11 IV Showed Paid.

06/23/11 Sent DS-230 via Express Mail.

06/24/11 DS 230 was delivered by USPS.

06/28/11 AOS was accepted per AVR.

06/30/11 Received AOS check list. Missing DS-230. (It was sent 06/23/11)

07/07/11 Case Complete per AVR and operator. Waiting for interview date.

08/01/11 Per NVC Operator Interview date 09/28/11

09/26/11 Medical test. Passed!!!!

09/28/11 Interview date @ BGT embassy. Approved!!!!!!!

On your receipt, top left corner you should have Aplication Number. you can use that number on https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/caseStatusSearchDisplay.do

It will show updates, but it will not show Bio app. You will need to wait on NOA for Bio.

Maryces21- Lol..it looks like I'm not the only one that missed the EAC reciept number on the check/cheque...hmmm...maybe they don't do such for the N-400, like they did before for the I-751? Guess I'll just have to wait for my NOA for a reciept number...

Congrats too on getting your bio appointment for Sept. 28...Wow, that was quick! Did you get a bio letter telling you of that date?

Hope all goes well for you for that (and yes, do post about the experience here too)!

Thanks for letting me know about the bio updates online...Hmmm...works like it did before..no bio date...but at least shows that the file was touched...better than nothing I suppose. Ant, Thank you for the wishes hopefully you are about to get yours too.

I would not trust online updates, i have been thru i-751 interview almost a month ago and it was successfull thank god, still shows that my case pending, thank god i had a printed and signed document that shows the interview was a success. So, i would say the mail box is the best place for updates :)

Yes I just call my husband, Iam at work, I asked him to check my mail and there it was the letter.

When I checked my check on-line, I could see some numbers on the corner but I could not read it. I colud read that was cashed by JP Morgan (they make sure that is printed clear) I know you will get yours soon. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Let me correct this my NOA was dated 09/03/09. I received it on the 10th. I was so happy I did not pay attention to that. I actually sent the package on the 09/01/09 Via express mail.

They just cashed our checks (both my wife and I have applied). On one, I can clearly read every number they have written on the back. Is the case number (which allows me to track progress online) one of them? If so, what is the format that I should look for?

It should be NBC*and 9 digits. At least that it is the way mine is.

Hi Everyone,

Waiting2008-Likewise, I hope to get my NOA soon too. Will keep you and eveyrone else updated when I receive such. Lol..It looks like I'll be camping out at my mailbox this week....I agree through, about the CRIS system being unreliable. Been there, done that with the I-751 recently...(see my detailed vj timeline for more info). Oh well, at least it is something that I can check, reliable or not...At least I know that the USCIS has my file in their system. By the way, why was it that you had an interview for the I-751? And how was your interview experience for the I-751, especially since not very many people get those for the I-751...

Ant, Thank you for the wishes hopefully you are about to get yours too.

I would not trust online updates, i have been thru i-751 interview almost a month ago and it was successfull thank god, still shows that my case pending, thank god i had a printed and signed document that shows the interview was a success. So, i would say the mail box is the best place for updates :)

Maryces21-Lucky your husband was there to check the mail and to inform you of your biometrics letter and date. Good luck with your upcoming biometrics appointment too. Hmm...I see some numbers...but I can't see numbers that looked anything with an EAC, WAC, or NBC on it. Were the numbers hand written and/or stamped? Though yes, I could read the JP Morgan information quite clearly. Lol...good to know who the USCIS banks with...Hope I get the NOA soon too so that I can track my N-400 case....Still waiting....Will keep you all updated about that....

Yes I just call my husband, Iam at work, I asked him to check my mail and there it was the letter.

When I checked my check on-line, I could see some numbers on the corner but I could not read it. I colud read that was cashed by JP Morgan (they make sure that is printed clear) I know you will get yours soon. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

Snj_immigrant-Great to hear that your checks were cashed too. By the way, when was it exactly that your and your wife's checks were cashed? That's interesting that you are both applying together. How come this is the case? A double immigration journey for your family..wow! Should be interesting, indeed. Hope that they schedule appointments for the both of you at around the same time, so that it is more convenient for the both of you (especially for the interview and oath ceremony). I was wondering the same thing too about the numbers...Can't seem to find anything that would indicate such...Oh well, I'll just have to wait for the NOA...

Maryces21-Thanks for telling us exactly what to look for in N-400 reciept numbers. Interesting that it would begin with NBC instead of something else since we sent it to Texas. Will be on the lookout for that...but can't seem to find that on the check...Will have to wait for the NOA instead....
