I did prepare the whole package and I did include a cover letter, just to make sure everything is sorted. (I also put the casenumber on it.)

A cover letter is not a requirement, but definitely it can be helpful. Make sure, you list what you are sending on the cover letter.

Did NVC send you the I-864EZ or I-864 or both?

Can anyone point me to Cover Letter example for I-864?

NVC just cashes AOS bill yesturday and operator told me that I-864 will be generated in 1 week. Should I call them and ask to genereta I-864EZ since I am qualified?

Just spoke with operator and he told me that they going to send me regular I-864 but I could download I-864EZ form from traveluswhatever.gov site and fill it up and cover letter no nessecery. I am going to send it anyway. Where I could see an example?

Interesting! I just called NVC 10 minutes ago asked the operator the same thing. She says they are sending out the I-864, as they do not have the new I-864EZ at the NVC yet. She told me not to send I-864 EZ, when I asked if I can download that form and send it to them.
