how to get EAD! and autorization for work

hello guys!!!

hello guys i got married yesterday and after that i went to a office of SSn in our place and i got a receipt of my ssn and the person whos helping me sadi taht she will use my name when im still single and i just need to change it to that home land security!!!after my 90 as a k1 ..waht should i do im confused in what step should i start first..

should i process my adjustment statues now and im planning to get a working permit.. hope you can help me what should i do first and what are the form and the papers i need.. for me to get this things done..hope you can give me information about this..thanks in advance!!!! :dance:

You should file AOS and EAD as soon as possible.

K-1 Visa Flowchart You're somewhere around Step 18. This will tell you the next steps.

K-1 AOS Guide and of course this tells you all the details.

For the name (that the SSA person was talking about) - use your married name (if you choose) on all your AOS and EAD forms - this way the EAD card and later the PR/Green Card will be issued in your married name. That is how you'll notify DHS.

you'll file a I-765 for EAD Card when you apply for AOS. you can also apply for Advance Parole, I-131 when you apply for AOS. the costs are included when you file the I-485 for AOS.

hello thanks for the reply to my post!! when i get home i will try to fill up things and i just want to know what are the thing taht i need for my AOS apllication..form I-485 and my I-765 what else do i need to include for my filling?

hope to hear from you and i just wonder also im from MISSOURI how can i know where will i submit it in case in done..and just want to know whats SSA?heheheeh thansk in advance
