Hi,

Does anyone here work in the international relations/non-profit/political science/legal services field? I am near desperation in my search to find work and want to make some contacts...any advice or help would be appreciated. And I've done the whole Craigslist/Monster/Careerbuilder/Linkedin/going to career fairs thing.

I am highly competent, but can't seem to find anything. Either I'm too experienced or not experienced enough....and it's pissing me off. :(

Timeline:

Sent in I-130 form: 01/29/09

Interview Date: 11/08/09 (APPROVED!)

Visa in Hand: 11/12/09

POE: 01/30/10 (!!!!) at JFK Airport in NYC... can't wait!

Got the green card maybe 8 weeks after 01/30/10...

TBC....
