Hi All,

I've tried to find an answer but was unsuccessful in doing so. I have a question:

- I am adjusting from K1, and my case was transferred to CSC on June 10. The receipt date of my I-485 is April 10.

- I see on the USCIS processing time for the I-485 that the timeline is 4 months (although mine is family based and not employment based)

- Now, if I look at the receipt date I am out of their target date, if I look at the transfer date, I am not yet out of it.

Do you guys know what date I should take into consideration? If it's the receipt date, what is the next step for me? Infopass?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Sebastien

hey Sebastien, bonjour!

i filed for a I485 in May, still waiting .... my case is on hold because I didn't answer back to a letter they sent me requesting additional information, en fait j ai jamais recu leur lettre donc je ne pouvais pas repondre .... la lettre date du 12 Juin et j ai appris ca vendredi dernier c est a dire le 29 Aout!

Donc je pense que les dates sur le tableau sont tres vagues, je dirais que les 4 mois sont a partir de la date a laquelle ils ont recu ton dossier.

Since it's been more than 90 days you have the right to call the customer service and request explaination they will email you with details on how your application is doing.

Good luck with your journey...

You cannot get a sense of a timeline from CSC for your I-485 from what they publish as they do not report one....

YMMV

Anyone can confirm this? I thought that maybe the I-485 "Employment based" was a merger of the two?

Thanks anyway for your answer! This is what I didn't want to hear ;)
