Alright, I'm sure this question has been asked a million times before, but searching for answers is taking forever.

My fiance is from England. We're about to file the I-129F petition, but would like to get a better understanding of what has to happen & when so we're prepared when the time comes.

1) Can I use a cosponsor for the affidavit? I am a student & work part time. I make a decent amount of money, but it's not up to the USCIS standards. My mother would happily be a cosponsor & she makes WAY more than 125% above the poverty line. If I can use her as a cosponsor, does she just fill out her own I-134 & send it along with the required documents & my I-134?

2) I assume the Affidavit of Support comes after the NOA2. When should I start gathering paystubs, etc?

3) Do I send the Affidavit (and my mom's) to the US Embassy in London, or do I send it to my fiance? If I send it to my fiance, does it go in Packet 3, Packet 4 or does he take it along to the interview? (From what I understand, the affidavit is not required, but is most likely going to be requested by the consulate.)

We appreciate any answers.

You all are fantastic help.

xx

Yes she will need to if London embassy allows cosponsors...check link below.

Yes, it comes after NOA2, start gathering paystubs a few months ahead of interview.
