he'll need record of it for his medical, they won't accept verbal for anything other than chicken pox I think.

He'll need a record for his medical? But he already HAD his med and the doc DIDN'T ask for it. Like I said, hubby didn't have a record but the doctor didn't ask for it anyway or even offer to give him the tetanus shot.

The office where I had my medical would not release the medicals until they received my varicella titre results. I received a little slip with that box ticked. If you are unsure of your husband's medical, call the office and ask them if all is clear with it.

When I made the appointment for my immigration medical, the doctor's office said in no uncertain terms that I MUST have evidence of vaccinations or proof of immunity to bring with me to the exam. I imagine if you do not bring it with you to the exam there will be LOTS of difficulties later when applying for AOS in the US. The civil surgeon in the US can't sign the vaccination supplement without proof they've been done, and to have them done in the US will cost quite a lot of money.

Before my immigration medical, I went to my own family doctor and told her I was immigrating and she drew blood for titres. She said she would NOT give me any vaccinations until the results had come back, because giving vaccinations that are not needed can be a health risk. She did however have my tetanus record in my file there, and it was past due, so that was all I needed.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!
