update: I recieved the hardcopy NOA2 on 8/29/09. then I got the NVC notice in the mail 8/31/09... I called the Dept. of State this morning they confirmed that our case was in Manila and being processed. so.. tonight at 8:05pm eastern time, I called the embassy in manila to try to set up the interview date and they said that our case was not yet in the system... so now I guess I will wait until monday evening(here)/ Tuesday Morning (there) to call back.. Hopefully it will be in the system!
