I initially submitted peitions for K-3. Towards the end of getting my I-130 and I-129 approved somehow they goofed up and changed my address to an address I never lived. So my Notices of Actions for both petitions had the wrong address and forwarded to NVC.

I called everyday to ensure that they update the correct address before they process anything. I just now call to make sure they did update it on the day i called. I find out that they only updated the I-130 petition address, and the I-129 was mailed to Lagos Embassey with the wrong address. Guys what should I do, I just don't want any issues to arise during my husbands interview. Should I just go ahead with the CR-1 like I intended doing anyway? I gave the rep the correct address and she updated it in her system. But isn't that just like trying to close the barn door after the animals got away, because NVC already sent it to the embassey  .

VISA APPROVED!!!!!

hope u know that the nigeria is very tuff embassy bcz i read so many post here that they refuse the visa, in my opinion u need to do the CR1 bcz that is better visa than K3, and do every thing right and dont take any chances, good luck and god bless u. abby n sheryl

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

Yes you are right, some mess it up for all. That's why I'm sort of concern. Lagos Embassey is tough, you have to have God's grace if you are sincere.

You hang in there girl ~ it'll all work out! I would just go with the CR1 personally and not worry about the I-129.

Yeah I'm leaning towards Cr-1. I just don't want them to see that there was a change only on one petition and why not the other. I'll attempt to call the embassey. Haven't told Greg yet.
