My case was completed on June 23rd, still waiting...

I am still waiting for an interview date in Montreal and my case was completed at the NVC on June 22nd. It seems like the NVC is slow in setting interview dates lately...it's almost been 7 weeks!

I know a few people whose cases were completed after mine, but got their interview in August! Not sure what is going on!

I think Girls should not have issue with name check! I know many guys(students) with common names, got their name check result less than 2 weeks!

I remembered reading somewhere (like a press release from a visit journalists paid to NVC) that each consulate has quotas for specific categories of visa interviews (CR/IR; Family-based: F1, F2A, F3, etc.; K) and on top of that they might be scheduling them not olny according to when the case was completed but also the priority date.

Unfortunately for you, and anyone else interviewing in Montreal, the average wait time is 90-100 days for an interview from case completion.

Montreal: BEAT!!! Approved!!!!!
