Timeline

Hi looking for answer I Live in canada and have married a filippino lady she has three children 2yr old 17and 18 I have travelled to philippenes four times and have started process to have her come to Canada I went to lawyer to make sure it was done properly all documentation gathered and sent so I recieved letter for approval of sponsor and then tracked on Immagration website and tracked process so the application was now recieved in Manilia as of May 6th all medical and records have been done she was contacted by canadian Immagration in manilia and asked for passports and proof of daughter was living with her then the other day I recieved letter for payment of Permanent residence application which I processed Immediatley does any one know now that this all done will my spouse still be asked for interview and about how much longer do you think the process could take

FYI - I'm sure you may have already noticed but - most folks on this site either are or have intentions of moving/immigrating to the US not Canada - I presume the immigration laws for Canada are a bit different.

Can't help ya with your question but I can tell ya that you better learn how to spell "filipina" since your wife is one, and they are from the Philippines not "philippenes." :no:
