i dont think so , u have to wait till NVC send all ur info to the manila, manila will inform u via mail then u can call and set up the appointment. good luck. i did the cr1 visa but someone will guide u here about the K1 process and good luck with the case number, i am so happy for u.

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

February 15,2010--------touch for my EAD

March 11,2010-----------for my AOS..and always checking our mailbox..hehehe

March 10,2010------------Interview for my AOS @ 9am (done) and waiting for the result.. whew...

March 22,2010------------Received my Greencard!so happy!

You can set up an appointment at USEM if your case is already in their system but if not you need to wait for it. Try to call USEM and check if your case is already in their system. Good luck.

Aug. 28, 2008 NVC left
Sept. 09, 2008 Consulate received
Sept. 16, 2008 Appointment notice received
Sept. 23, 2008 Filed Jap. police clearance

Wait for at least a week or two, then you can call and inquire. You don't need to wait for the mail that will be sent through post. It takes a while to get there. Congrats!

You don't need to wait for the mail, check with USEM if they received your case, they will send you an email - appointment letter (you will not get a snail mail from USEM). you can pick any schedule and they will give you options when. You can have your medical like a week before your interview. Good luck!

02/25/10-GC approved

08/26/10-319B n400 starts

11-09-10 Interview 10 AM >Approved

I actually called them twice ^for notification^. . And luckily they gave it to me, twice. YAY! Thanks God. . Very happy indeed, hope to hear from USEM soon. Keep the faith burnin'.

Manila case number and Visa number is different. NVC assigns the MNL # once your case is ready to be forwarded to USEM for processing.

oh LOL wow i feel stupid..i thought that was the visa number lol anyway, we had just gotten off the phone with them, and i just said what's the case number and she gave me that without question .. lol i guess i should have rephrased or something..oh well, but i got the MNL number now :)

Actually they are right....NVC case number and Manila case number is different. Once the NVC send your case to USEM...the USEM will put your case in their system and assigned you another case number which starts with MNL******** and that would be your final case number that you will use from setting an interview schedule, medical exam, visa interview and so on.

K1 Process:
