Hi Everyone,

The time has gone by so fast! I have my medical this Tuesday in Toronto and then I have my interview the next Tuesday (Aug.12)!! I can't believe that I'm almost done with this process. Hopefully I have everything I need for these appoitments. For my medical I have: vaccination card, $275, 3 passport photos, ID and immigration interview letter. For my interview i'm guessing I will bring all my ID, interview letter, and whatever the medical appt. gives me. Is this correct? Or am I missing anything?

Wow!! $275??? Wish it was that price all over!!

For the interview, don't forget: police report, proof of relationship and all the forms you needed to fill out. I assume your ID means passport. Not sure how the medical is in Toronto, but in Vancouver, they also needed a copy of my passport page. ( In case you need it too )

Best wishes for everything!! :star:

Oooops quick add here...2 passport picture for the interview too!! affidavit of support!!

I'm hoping that I don't need all of that for my interview. I gave the NVC everything and on the interview letter it stated that everything would be sent to consolute. I am going for my I130 (1R?? I think), I've been married for 7 years and applied for I130. So, I think that all I need for Montreal next week is: Passport photos, passport, medical papers from appointment and Interview confirmation. I really hope that i'm correct on this because I will start to panic if I need something I don't have!! I believe that you would have to bring all of that other info if you were not married yet, but I have no idea though!! So if I am wrong and someone knows for sure that I am, please let me know. Thanks again.

You should bring everything - copies of the packet you sent to NVC, proof of your relationship, etc. to your interview. Always err on the side of caution!

Absolutely bring it all. That way you can relax. It may be a pain to lug the stuff around but can you imagine getting turned down because they wanted to see something you didn't bring? I was denied a K-1 visa at the Montreal interview because of a snafu on the part of USCIS (don't mean to alarm you, I'm sure this is quite rare). In the end, I got it sorted out (I stayed an additional two days and had to shell out more money that was never reimbursed--as promised by the Consul). If I had'nt brought every last thing with me, I think I would have had to return to Montreal at a later date. Not sure if I could have handled it. 'Be prepared' is the best advice I can give.

Also, if you don't plan on returning to pick up your results, you'll need another $50 for the shipping fee. And you will need to bring your passport. And remember, arrive early!

Good luck.

You have your medical tomorrow? I'm surprised that it is open for the holiday! I'm not too nervous about the appt. just nervous that I won't have the proper paperwork or something else. Good luck!! When is your interview?

there is NOTHING to worry about at the medical!! unless you have TB syfilis or HIV!! or maybe a mass in your lungs that you dont know anything about?

really the medical is a total breeze, I was worried when i went and after my first check up i realized this is just like visiting a regular doctor only different tests that will all come out fine cus i know i have none of these things they are looking for!
