I have already received our NOA2 hardcopy last July 18th until now NVC has not received our case. I have called the NVC daily just to check if they have receive it or not but the operator keeps on telling me that it usually takes 4 weeks to 90 days, is this really true? On the other note, while waiting for our MNL case number I have somewhat prepare all the necessary forms that my fiancé needs for his interview. What should I do first? Does my fiancé needs to pay for the $131 (Visa Application) first then fill out the DS-156 online or fill out the form first then pay the Visa application fee? Other than forms DS-156, DS-157, DS-157K, & I-134 (provided by me) is there any other forms or anything else that I’m forgetting?

As your fiance has not received a letter from the USEM yet , you may start doing your I-134 and send it to him , start assembling necessary docs for interview as when the letter arrives , all systems go - from filling up forms , paying at BDO for visa application , going to medical at St. Lukes and then the interview .

Good luck .

1. Have him go to Banco D oro and pay the 131.00 fee. They will give him a blank DS15x ( i don't recall which one it is ) with their stamp on it showing its been paid

2. You need the I-134 form, have it notarized.

3. You will also need the letter of employment, have that notarized.

4. Make copies of your W-2 form ( I sent 3 years worth), a copy of your signed tax return for each year your sending.

5. 3 or 4 recent paystubs.

6. A few recent E-mails, a copy of chat log excerpts if you have them. letters, copies of wire transfers. etc.

7. A recent passport photo.

8. copies of everything you sent in with the original I-129F filing including an updated intent to marry letter if it has been awhile since you filed. (can't hurt to have everything recent)

He has to step up now. His NSO file and birth certificate has to match . NBI (police clearance). Certificate Of Singleness. Annulment of marriage if he was married before. his passport needs to be up to date. He will also need 2 new passport photos I think.

He can go to St Lukes anytime after he has his appointment. He should also complete his CFO -PDOS seminar while he is there for the medical. This is something we missed and she just went back down to Manila to do that, its a few hours and has to be done before he can leave the country

Good Luck on your Journey, it goes fast now.

The first setback came during the medical. Naty had to do the 3 day sputum and then we waited 2 months for the results. YESSSS>came back negative

Went for her interview on July 16th and received her Pink Slip......Finally. Paid the AIR21 and I expect her here August 10th, 2009. Marriage will be August 21st, exactly 4 years to the day that we first met.

All excellent advice but it is no longer required to have the I-134 notarized. Download the most recent or updated 134.

IT'S NOT THE DESTINATION ITS THE JOURNEY...AND WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN
