I was reading in the CR-1 Guide that we are supposed to bring the I-864 to the interview. What happens to the I-864 that we sent to the NVC? Does the Embassy use the NVC Copy or the Copy we bring?

I was just wondering if our Financial situation has changed since the I-864 has been submitted to NVC can we use the one we bring to the Interview with the New Data.

Thanks!

The NVC doesn't forward the I-864 to the USEM. Bring it with you because they won't have it. Good luck on your interview. Mike

NVC definitely does forward the I-864 to the embassy. It's recommended that you bring another copy just in case something goes missing, or in situations like yours when financial situations have changed and the information needs to be updated.
