I just received the interview letter, and we are very excited!

So, we are getting everything together now.... but I have a few questions!

- What do you need to show proof of joint accocunt... is a check, and/or bank statement with our names on enough?

- The NOA says we need to bring " all documentation establishing your eligibility for lawful permanent residence"... what would that be?

- Do we need to take another certified marriage certificate, even though I sent one when applying for AOS?

- Has anyone actually ever taken any correspondence/greeting cards addressed to you both? How important is that?

- Are written testimonies from family/friends necessary at this stage, or is that just for lifting circumstances?

Thanks for your help!!

Bank statement shows joint account. Documents "establishing eligibility" would be a K1 visa and marriage certifcate, but bring anything you can showing a legitimate marriage relationship and shared living arrangements. Yes, we brought Christmas cards, and letters from our sons school addressed to both of us as parents...but they never looked at any of it. I brought a copy of every document ever sent to USCIS or the Consulate, they never looked at any of it and never asked a question. Including wait time, we walked out with approved green cards (for wife and son) 13 minutes after walking in. I put all that stuff back in the closet with a smile.
