You have options, but most will depond upon your individual circumstances.

If you continue with the K1 you will need a way to get your mail forwarded to the Philippines reliably. The Phil Postal System is not known for reliability. After you get the visa will need time to return to the USA and get married, apply for AOS, do a biometrics, and attend a possible interview.

The other option is to stop the K1 and get married. I would suggest petitioning for a CR1 visa over a K3. There will be no AOS with the CR1 visa. Also, look into doing a Direct Consulate Filing DCF at the USEM. Most Embassys require a 6 months stay in the country before accepting a DCF.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

if you K1, or whatever, to keep a status in the states your wife will need to live here more than half the year, and you will need a fixed address. to get citizenship she will need to be in USA for 18 months, with no absences of more than a year, before qualifying.

it would be nice for her to have US paper, but now might not be the right time.
