How do you check if file has been touched

Hi, you must have your case number. I see you filed your case in California Service Center so your number must be some thing like WACxxxxxxxxx. Now go to USCIS website at www.uscis.gov. At the down right corner you'll see "Check Case Status"... insert your number and then ok! Now you can see status of your case. You may create an account there to get notified when they "touch" your case...just follow relevant links there... Each file has a barcode and they scan it once they touch the case and it notifies you on your e-mail... Good Luck! :thumbs:

Marriage : 2010-05-25

CHECK MY TIME LINE FOR REST OF INFO.

Once you enter your Receipt # from your NOA in the online database you will know when it has been "touched" when the date changes. So if you enter your Receipt # today 07/22/09 and then you check it again on Saturday and it now has a date of 07/24/09, it means that they touched it on Friday.

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
