Visa Packet torn

Hello Vjers, My Abby is worried that she will have a problem because the Visa packet is torn. I am not talking about the large triangle cut out of the top, we know that is normal. The tear in question here starts at the bottom of the triangle and runs about 2 inches down the side toward the bottom of the envelope. It is not torn all the way, just about 2 inches from the triangle, this is the condition that Air 21 delivered the packet in, she didn't tear it.

My Abby wants to know if anyone else experienced this and did you have to do anything about it?

Yes mine was torn due too when I had it during travel but then I explained it to the immigration officer what happened and that it was not my intention to see what's inside. They checked on it and let me pass anyway.

this makes me feel better because mine has a little tear at the bottom too. starting from the triangle cut. but it's just tiny.. like 2 or 3mm

little tears that are the result of normal handling by couriers are ok,

what is not acceptable is deliberate tearing, whether or not by accident, of the envelope that exposes the contents of the documents inside that might allow for possible tampering.
