Hi, everyone and members.

i have a question about how to apply for green card for my wife.

my wife came over the US for over a month now as a fiancee visa. We got the certified marriage certificate and we are going to apply for SSN.

What is the next step to do in order to apply for green card ?

how much is the green card fee ?

What forms do i need and what is the green card process ?

Do we have a lot of time to do all the paper work ?

I heard they will need the finger prints too, how does it work ?

Please help me on this.

You can find all of this in the guides located here. Cost is around $1010.00

You will get a notice to go for finger prints after you file the AOS located hre in the guides. Good luck

I-751 mailed 6/30/09 aapproved 11/7/09 The BOYS I-751 Mailed 12/29/09 3/23/10 Email approval for 17 CR 3/27/10
4/14/10 Email approval for 13 yr Old CR 4/23/10

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png

Moved to Adjustment of Status forum as this question is about AOS rather than lifting conditions. OP, if you have a read of the information on Adjustment of Status in the VJ guides (as well as those on the relevant forms mentioned in the guides), you'll find all or most of what you need to know. If you're unsure of anything or need to ask more questions, there are plenty of people here who can help! :)

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png
