Name Change after its all finished

So for some reason...that reason escapes me now... we decided to keep everything to my wife's maiden name until after the GC arrived. Other then going to the SS office, what else do we need to do regarding the Green Card and her passport?

PR/Green Card is in her now married name?

The following is typically what is needed to officially change one's name due to marriage:

  • Driver's license
  • SS Card

Okay just read about the I 90, though one guide says not to change it if its a 2 year card?

Hmm her passport will need renewing in two years I think too. It sounds like its best to wait until then anyway...

May as well - there's no real harm in everything being in the maiden name - Karin's is all in her maiden name. Path of least resistance - we (both of us) don't put that much value in taking my name - some folks do though..
