Hi ! I am from Vancouver BC but had a roomate many years ago from Quebec.

I hadn't heard from her in over 20 yrs and was very happy to have found her on facebook.

She called me lastnight and we talked on the phone for 3 hrs!

Anyway, we used to speak Quebec french all the time but now I can't remember much at all.

I would like to write her a note in french and let her know how happy I am to have re-connected with her.

Could someone help me translate English to Quebec French?

I would be forever grateful !

Merci!

:luv:

Hey you can get one to write it and one to proof read. That way you know you're not unintentionally writing your old friend some perverted love letter.

jk

Je suis tellement contente d'avoir retrouvé ma coloc que j'avais perdue de vue depuis plus de vingt ans.

J'étais très excitée de te parler ma chère Gina!

Tu es la meilleure (really Quebec-style you could also write: "T'es ma best!")

Bisous, Lily (but, I would leave "Love Lily"... because it's you!)
