Does it matter who starves to death quicker? The fact is that those who are currently impoverished are going to become more so before it affects the fat American. They will probably all be dead, no matter how used to being hungry and impoverished they are. Not to mention the fact that they will probably have no water as the climate ratchets up.

Good, so fewer poor people. Sounds like a win-win.
