Needing assistance

I'm currently caught up in the whirlwind of Canadian to US immigration and I wanted to get feedback from folks who have/are going through this to find out where we stand at the moment

A little back history, Wife-Canadian, myself- US. Married in Charleston, SC

So far we have

-filed the I-130

-Received the NOA (797) & NOA (797C)

-Completed the Choice of Agent form

-Completed, filed, and paid for the I-864 Affidavit of support

-Completed, filed, and paid for the Case IV processing

-I just received the 'paid' notification for the Case IV, and now I'm in the process of preparing/completing the paperwork on the D-230

What type of timeline should we expect after this for the visa, AOS, etc?

We have a appointment with our attorney this coming up week to help get our heads out of the mud.

I'm sort of in the dark with all of this, and I would just like to know when to expect to see the light at the end.

Hi blykins,

At this point you probably don't need an attorney - all the info you need is here really. Once you have completed the DS-230 - that's it for NVC (once they process and approve it) - then they send the file off to Montreal, after they schedule your interview.
