Hi guys,

I am waiting the administrative processing for my k3 visa. The Officer Consul told me during the interview (on February 10th) that the visa would be issued in 10 business days, and now it is under administrative processing. Last month, start of June, my husband came to Brazil and we went to Consulate again and talked again to the Consul. He told us everything was fine, and he was waiting for a response from Washington. No one document was missing, but we have to wait for that response. Me and my husband are so much without patience and are thinking do something more serious about that. It is kind of crazy make a young couple, be separate for this long time. What can they are searching for? I didn’t go to USA, and I even got out my country. I am an attorney here, and athlete. I have just good stuffs to say about me and my past. I didn’t do anything wrong in my life. I have a common name here in Brazil, with a more common last name, can to be this? How more long this AP can take? What can be causing this AP? Please, help us VJs, we are so so much desperate. After the interview, that It was fine, I sold my things, quit my job, and now I am living in my brother's home. But he is moving for to live with a friend, and me?? I want and need to move to USA, my husband is there in our home. My home is there, why this is taking so long to happen??Sorry guys for the relief, but we are suffering a lot. Anyone else is passing through this too? Is there any place we can call, or any person we can talk to that maybe can help us? Besides the congressman?

Thanks, let’s pray, pray for all AP Vjs!

Kisses

Carol

A pleasant good day. I wuz told the same thing after an interview at the US Embassy on 30th June, 2009 with a consular officer in his 20's of afro American descent. As my name was called to attend the interview, he asked me questions that included:

(1) Where do you work? I replied I work at the Elections and Boundaries Commission.

(2) Where is it located? I said on Frederick Street, Port of Spain.

(3) What is your total salary? I said $8000.00

(4) Do you have a job letter? I said yes.

(5) Can I see it? I handed it to him.

(6) Do you have money in the bank? I said yes.

(7) Do you have a bank statement? I said yes.

(8) Can I see it? I handed it to him.

(9) He then asked a question about a C1/D visa I had when I wuz attending the University of Trinidad and Tobago. I said I no longer attend and switched careers. He also asked who I would be staying by and I replied and he was quite pleased with my answer.

(10) He asked how's my job going? I said its good

(11) What your job position entails? I replied, PC Repairs, Networking, Going out on the field to other offices seeing that I work at the Head Office.

(12) Officer took my finger prints.

(13) Okay, YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED.

(14) Gave me a chit to pay at TTPOST and while I have finished payed, OFFICER CALLS ME BACK!!!!!!!!!!

(15) Do you have someone in the US? I said yes, my Mom who I wasn't going to stay by since I don't have a close relationship with her who left me when I wuz a little baby and 1 and half years old.

(16) I MYSELF TOLD HIM I WITHDREW A IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION several years ago after writing to the National Visa Center in Oregon since I didn't want to immigrate since almost all my relatives live here and they wrote me back stating that my petition has been withdrawn since I was the Choice of Agent.

I filled out my application Truthfully and Honestly knowing to my self I would be back home after my two week visit since i will be only given a month vacation away from my job. Officer CALLED ME BACK TO THE WINDOW AFTER VISA IS GIVEN TELLING ME HE WILL CONTACT ME. He gave me a form under Refusal under Section 221(g), my application needs administrative processing. I called the Department of state and they say its pending.
