1_601239394l.jpgThis year in early march I visited my fiancee for 2 months.She wanted a better computer,so;I got a extra one I had that i was using for chat's.I talk to her on yahoo messager since december 20,2007.When i was there I did somthing stupid that cause the power supply to blow in thre computer.So,We belive our saved chats are all gone.I'm told that such things can affect you harddrive.I was gonna print those chat logs when we connected the computer to her house.Sadly,That part my eveidence might be gone forever.All that i have left to prove is western union receipts that i sent her a allowance every week.That simple cause I did not want her to work,but i read that the embassy might see it as buying a bride or something.We have a few e-mails,but I not sure that be enough.I do have the photos of our meeting,the affidavit of leiu to contract marriage to american citizen.(Do you change of plans i still have this form and did not get married there.)Do you think that this will be a hugh problem with approval of the I-129F(K-1 Visa).Would a letter explaining my problem and sign letter from people that know that we have been togther and talk constantly for the past 2 years help at all?

Sending your loved one money doesn't prove a legitimate relationship, we never used anything like that perhaps someone who has can give you more information.

Do you have Passport stamps & tickets they are excellent proof. You don't need to show any proof like that until the interview when did you file your K1? make a timeline because if you are not near the interview stage you have some time to send more emails, and record more chats etc;

My husband (then Fiance) bought me a new computer for Christmas one year and I also Blew the supply (no idea how I managed it!) but it completely ruined my 120gb hard drive, the HD was buggered.

Like the previous poster said, if you are just filing now, send in the photos, passport stamps and anything else you have to prove that you visited your fiance. The interview is when they ask for evidence of a relationship and that is when you would want to provide the chat logs etc. That is when you want to bring everything you have that shows you are in a real relationship and not just faking for immigration benefits. The Western Union stuff may be seen as buying a bride but I think that is something you would want to ask in the PI specific thread, since this might be common there.

if you filed for I-29F already and you have all the qualitfications to file..theres no way your I-29F will be denied. However, the documents to proved that you have a relationship goes both ways. For more info go to the Philippine US Embassy

http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3024.html

Details of Interview in the US Embassy

- You will be given a number upon entry (dont lose it coz they called the number not your name) and you will wait to be called for finger printing, then wait again to be called for the Screening Window;

Screening Window

- a filipina will ask for a document while she ask questions and taking notes of your answesr on the documents for consul reference wether your answers are always the same and true, questions I encountered;

Who is your petitioner (your fiance) and his address

Your Petitioner's age, birthdate, birthplace

Is he Divorce

How many times?

Dates of his divorce

How many children he has

Where did you two meet

Exact date you meet him

Exact date he visited you in the Philippines and where both of you going in the Philippines

Are you single, never been married or separated

Do you have children, how many

What is your petitioners job, name of his company and how long he's been working in that company

After the Screening Window, you will be asked to wait again for your number to be called for American Consul Interviewer

Consul Interview

- the interview will be conducted by an American Consul. Interview questions that i encountered as follows;

You take an oath with the Consul

Exact date he propose to you, Did you say yes at once

Date you say yes to him

SAME QUESTIONS AS ABOVE

Are you working? Name of the Company your working with, address and your position

Ever been to the US? or outside Philippines?

When do you intend to join him in the States

When is your date of marriage

Will you be living alone together in the States or with his kids, if ever

What part of the state will you live as couple

After the interview with the consul, you will be asked to wait again. They will call your number again on another window, wether you pass or not. If they returned your documents, it doesnt mean that your denied, it means that you need to submit more proof. If you recieved a PINK SLIP (pink slip was used on my time, 2007 if you passed) you will be asked to pay for your passport and visa delivery. It will take just 4 days or a week to get your visa to be delivered at your home address, then off you go to the US to see your american fiance

take note, even if the filipina fiancee have presented all the documents in the screening window but if she goofed on the interview, like forgetting details about her fiance, that could mean a denial on the petition. Just be calm and review everything about both of you, because you never know what the consul may ask. Some consul ask just a few questions and some ask a lot, like the one i have (grrrrrr to him..lol)

Good luck to both of you.

Just to put my 2 cents here. There is a chance that your hard drive still works. After the power supply fails, the mother board will fry it's capacitors before even damaging your HD. I'm using mine in an enclosure as an external hard drive after the power supply literally burned up on my last pc. If you can't put the HD in an enclosure try plugging it on another pc.

It might be a longshot but it might work.

PEACE.........
