ill be arriving in the u.s. tomorrow. we will get married 2 days after my arrival. my fiancee will be deployed in august (so we r trying to learn the process now.

my questions:

1.when my husband gets deployed i will be leaving at my aunt's house and not on my soon-to-be husband's house (which is my mother-in-law's house)... WILL THIS BE A PROBLEM?

i read that COMMON RESIDENCE IS NEEDED for proof.. can i submit other proof? if yes.. what other proof do they accept?

2. can i just use my aunt's address in all the forms that i will fill up? since i will stay there for the entire deployment of my husband to be..

3. What forms do i need him to sign in advance?.. since he will be far from me... snail mails will take long long time

4. after being married how long does it take to get a SSN ? (i will be needing it for my california RN license..)

thank u for ur reply n God bless u now.. :star:

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Not a problem

His deployment orders would probably work.

Yes - it is where you would be living.

3. What forms do i need him to sign in advance?.. since he will be far from me... snail mails will take long long time

Probably the I-864

4. after being married how long does it take to get a SSN ? (i will be needing it for my california RN license..)

Don't need to be married to get the SS card.
