So, we've been going through our paces. Been filling out those forms. I was unemployed and he was pushing his last few days on the VWP.

We got married with two (TWO) days to spare to his expiration. Then, I got a job offer! Yay! at 48,8k a year, so I am higher than the poverty level. Even though this is a new job offer, it still counts, right? As long as I have tax returns to show previous years salary and the letter saying I'm employed and what my salary is... I am good to show my support of my husband, right? (I'm the USC, he's a legal resident of New Zealand and Citizen of UK).

Tomorrow is his medical exam with the civil surgeon. So, as soon as we have that packet then we'll send off the AOS. Do we need to take the form or should the civil surgeon have everything there for the exam?

As always thank you all!

Hugs!!!

I'm so excited that we are nearly to AOS day :) (gotta take these in baby steps, right?)

Civil Surgeon will have everything for you in a sealed envelop. I just did mine today, and go back in 2 days to get the envelop.

Yes, you need to take the I-693 form to the civil surgeon. He/she will fill it out and give it to your husband in a sealed envelope. However, it usually takes 3-7 days since the result of TB test won't come back right away. Your husband will have to go on at least 2 different days. Good luck!
