Dismissed Ticket for Driving without licence - Disclose on N-400?

Hi everyone:

While driving in 2005 in New Jersey, a ticket was erroneously issued for driving without a license. In Court, all charges were immediately dropped as I showed my European driving license. No penalty of any sort, nothing, just dismissed. I am now applying for naturalization, based on the 3-year marriage rule. Should I include the information about the ticket on my N-400? I always thought that it was irrelevant and never listed before.

Do you think that it is going to be a problem?

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Don't include it and don't worry about it. From the USCIS Guide to Naturalization: "Note that unless a traffic incident was alcohol or drug related, you do not need to submit documentation for traffic fines and incidents that did not involve an actual arrest if the only penalty was a fine less than $500 and/or points on your driver’s license."

You should disclose it on the N-400 application, but there is no need to include any court or DMV documentation regarding it.
