We had very hard time at our interview.

The immigration office give me no chance to say anything but answer her questions. I had no chance to ask for a name change, to show my wife's married name on the green card to be made.

What do I have to do now, to have her name changed?

What name did you use on I-485? There is a line for current name, and a line that says "Name on I-94" where maiden name is entered.

Only option is after you get green-card, if it has maiden name on it and you want married name you file an I-90 and get it changed, FEE is $340 or so to do this.

OR you can wait until you file to remove conditions, if the green-card is a 2 year conditional card.

Our interviewer only allowed my wife to keep her first name and her new married last name, no middle name. She told us that we would only be able to change and add the middle name after/if she became a US citizen.

I thought it was BS, but it did not matter to us much since she got the green card.

There are probably a lot of discussions about this, but here is one that I recall:

Yep BS.

My wife had no middle name, so we made her family name her middle name, and she took my family name, we did this on our marriage license and on the I-485, and were approved without interview, and her green-card has her name they way we specified on the I-485.
