Not really - they can really only give you standard 'canned' answers which is little more/same as what you can see yourself when checking case status online.

It doesnt matter anyway, because they dont help at all at the number you will end up calling. It is one hundred percent worthless to call, unless your Petition is beyond the timeline guidelines stated on the USCIS web site. So if they say on their website that I129F Petitions are taking six months on the average to process, and you call in anything less than six months, you are just playing a joke on yourself. They will not tell you anything at all. They will simply repeat the words printed on their web site, so dont waste your time. If you are beyond the time they print on their web site, say seven or eight months, then they will take your EAC number and put through an inquiry. That works, and you will soon get an approval; unless, they have some reason to keep you waiting in that category they use for all people they will drag on and on forever. That is the reality.
