Hi, I have a GC and I am filling out the I-130 form for my 22 month daughter. I made a mistake and did not bring her back on my first trip to US after birth. I am not clear waht should I write in section 14 in this form. It says: Date and Place of admission for or adjustment to lawful permanent residence and class of admission. What does it mean? Should I write when GC was issued to me? And what is a class of admission? Also is it true that it takes up to five years to get her in US? Can it be done faster. Thanks in advance.

How did you obtain your GC? This would help with helping you. Yes if you are a LPR it will take around 5 years for you to bring your daughter, However if you are married to a USC then he can apply and it will be around 9-12 months give or take.

As far as the question they pertain to you. Class is how you obtained your green card.

Oldest son now 21 I-130 filed by LPR dad ( as per NVC CSPA is applying here )
I-130 approved 2/24
Priority date 12/6/2007
4/6/2010 letter from NVC arrives to son dated 3/4/2010
5/4/10 received AOS and DS3032 via email
9/22/10 Interview BOG Passed
10/3/10 POE JFK all went well
11/11/10 GC Received smile.png
